Morocco

sunny

We got off the ferry from Spain and arrived in a small port town called Tangier, Morocco. We has some hotel troubles and left the town as soon as possible and arrived in Fez. Once in Fez we met a tour guide and signed up for a private tour including fez, the Sahara Desert, the Todra Gorge, Ourzezat, and Marrekech. In Fez we visited a tannery and a tile masonry as well as many rug and spice stores. Overall it was a much dirtier rustic country compared to Spain.

Then we countinued to the Sahara where we slept under the stars and camel trekked. It looked more amazing than the windows screensaver of the desert.

Then we went to Todra Gorge which was rather dissapointing and full of honking cars and crowded.

Next we went to Ourrezezat, where we saw where Gladiator was filmed, and bought our bongo drums.

Last on the tour we went to Marrekech which was 50 degrees celsius which is 122 degrees farenheit!

Then we stayed the night in Casablanca, a dirty city before flying out to Rome.
